Mathematics is reasoning. Mathematics was created by reasoning and depends on reasoning for its further development as well as its usefulness.

 (1): As per dictionary, “Reason” means the mind’s power of drawing conclusions(or answers) and determining right and truth.

Reason or “reasoning” is associated with thinking and intellect. Reason, like habit or intuition, is one of the ways by which thinking comes from one idea to a related idea. For example, it is the means by which human beings understand themselves to think about cause and effect, truth and falsehood, and what is good and bad and what is wrong or right. Reasoning gives the rationale behind why one choice should be selected over another.
